Lanta Garden Hill Resort
If you’re here for the low season and are looking for some decent and cheap accommodation, this can be one option.
It’s near Lanta Gym and across the street you’ll find 7eleven and the Coffee Cup Club, as well the beach. Several restaurants and beach-bars. Because you’re in the end of the beach Hat Phra Ae you’ll have easy access to the other beach Hat Khlong Khong. Hat Phra Ae, also called Long Beach are nicer for swimming though.
For this price, 5000 Baht a month (2009), you have to bring your own bedsheets. You can add an extra charge and everything likefridge and air-con will be included or you can ask them to set the bill after how much you’re using the air-con. Everything is up to you. But the bungalows are looking quite nice and fresh themself, and have verandas fronting the hotel street alley. There are two pools you can use, restaurants etc. The area is big and continues uphill, so there are small golf-carts that can pick you up if you’re living on the top or far up where also the more fancy houses are.
Lanta Garden has a wide range of accommodation and apartments across the road.
This is only one of many places, if you’re coming here to Lanta, go and have a look yourself, get your own deals and see what suits you best.
