Yangon Circle Line January 5, 2010

…………………………………………………………….

1 dollar, foreigner price, and of course no one checked our tickets. The train is suppose to take 2-3 hours, our train weren’t in a rush, soo we came back four hours later, exhausted and thirsty of the humidity.

What you get from this train, is to meet and see the locals and the countryside outside Yangon. The train stops quite frequently and you might find yourself getting stucked in the same place for a long time. Weekends are more relaxed with not so many people jumping on board while weekdays are more busy and crowded, though in return you’ll experience more action. Somehow it’s interesting in the same time as it feels like you’re wasting your time. Above are some pictures showing some of the action going on inside and outside of the train along the journey.
